One of my favorite weddings this year took place at the beautiful Tubac Golf Resort. Need I say more? I have never been disappointed by a Tubac Golf Resort wedding, and this was no exception. What made this wedding so unique was the story behind why they chose this location. The wedding ceremony took place […]
Tucson mini sessions have now come to an end! It is the week of Thanksgiving (2020), and I am SO THANKFUL to all of my families and couples for allowing me to capture them and their loved ones. This year has not been the easiest for anyone, and it means the world to me that […]
Oh the Mariscal Family. They hold such a special place in my heart! Denisse and I have been long time friends, but we’ve known each other for many years. One of her sisters and I have been besties since kindergarten and 3 out of the 4 sisters were my bridesmaids. So yeah. That entire family […]
When Alina reached out to book a family session and requested a location that had greenery, water, and views of the mountains, my first reaction was, “Girl, you do know we live in Tucson, right?!” Haha, and rest assured, I found the perfect place; Christopher Columbus Park. I had recently taken Lidda’s new headshots (Lidda […]
When Natalia and Richard reached out asking to take their 10th-anniversary session, I was thrilled! Not only is Natalia my cousin, but they at both my wedding ninos! Originally the plan was to have the session downtown, but when Richard suggested San Xavier Del Bac, I could not wait! I had never been to San […]
Although I do take some posed family portraits, my main goal is to make it fun and exciting. At the same time, I capture those in-between moments that showcase their joy and love. AKA candid shots. I find that candid shots end up being the favorites most of the time. Also, they represent you! Your genuine, joyful, and happy self!
They arrived at their special place in Sabino Canyon. His hands kept reaching for hers while one of her hands kept reaching for her water bottle. Rob tried his best to set it aside, but she kept insisting on keeping it near her. He pulled her close to him, wrapping his arms around her. Reaching for his pocket, he revealed a red box. He got down on one knee and looked up at Andy and asked the one question she was thrilled to hear and responded, “of course!”
As you may (or may not) already know I recently attended Showit United and I can probably write an entire blog series about it, but first I wanted to share one of the wedding styled shoots I had the opportunity of attending. The moment I walked up to the styled shoot, I could not get […]
This engagement session was so much fun! Mary and Richie are getting married next year down in Mexico, and even though I do not get to capture their beautiful day, I was so thrilled to photograph their engagement session this past weekend! Mary & Richy were so easy to work with. They laughed the entire time, and they were lovey-dovey and total troopers in over 100-degree weather. I also have to give a huge shoutout to my best friend/ hair and makeup artist, Vanessa Ruiz, from MyVanety! Mary’s hair and makeup were on point and needed zero touchups while editing.
A few weeks ago, I came across an Instagram story announcing a workshop. It was from a photographer I admire, in my state, and somewhat within my budget (a few Starbucks trips had to be sacrificed). The one and only Ryann Lindsey. If you are not familiar with her work, I truly recommend visiting her website and following her on Instagram when you get a chance.
