Q: We love you and we're ready to book! whats the next step?

A: Yay! I'm SO excited you're ready to call yourself a Ruby Sandoval Couple. However, I never book any couples without first meeting in person or chatting via Zoom. I genuinely believe you should feel there is no better person to capture your day than me and to know that, you'll want to get to know me and my personality to assure it's a good fit for you before booking. Once we've done that, a completed contract and a $300 non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. 

Q: How many photos are typically included in our collection and can we print them ourselves?

A: Galleries typically include about 75 to 100 photos per hour of coverage, though the exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. You are more than welcome to print the images yourself, as your gallery comes complete with fully edited, high-resolution images. I also provide an online print shop through your gallery, which ensures professional printing through one of my preferred professional print labs. 

Q: We've already had an engagement session or aren't going to be in Tucson before the wedding. Can we take that off of the Collection?

A: I genuinely believe in the importance of shooting an engagement session with all of my #rscouple family and that it is a vital part of your experience. It not only helps us get to know one another better, but it helps me to get some insight into your natural chemistry before your big day! For these reasons, I include the engagement session as my complimentary gift to you.

Q: Are there other vendors you can recommend to me?

A: Absolutely! I've been able to build amazing relationships with so many creative and professional vendors over the years. I only point my couples in the direction of other creatives who I know will take the absolute best care of you and can send you a list of these names once we've made it official! 

Q: How many hours of coverage do I need?

A: My collections begin at 6 hours of coverage, as I have found this to be the amount of time needed to serve my couples best. It is more than enough time to capture the finishing touches of a glam squad making you look your best through the two of you dancing the night away on the dance floor! You can always add additional coverage if needed at any time, but know I will never leave your wedding without checking in on the two of you to make sure we’ve taken every last photo you were dreaming of.

Q: How many photographers will be at my wedding?

A: I always have another photographer (and sometimes even two!) to assist me on the day of your wedding. That way, we can assure that multiple angles of your event are captured and all the candid in between moments that will mean so much to you. Intimate weddings are easy to shoot myself, but there is also an option to add a second photographer to your Collection.

Q: We don’t want/need an album. Can we remove it from the collection or trade it for something else?

A: As a photographer, I recognize the importance of print. I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t make sure that you had a tangible heirloom from the most momentous day of your life and the start of your legacy together. Not to mention, your images deserve a more beautiful place to live than the cloud. This is why I include an album credit as my gift to you in Collections, and I don’t remove it or swap it out for other services/value. 

Q: Do you charge travel fees?

A: I do not charge any travel fees if the wedding is within 30 miles of zip code 85742. Travel fees are $0.58/mile beyond that radius roundtrip and $0.62/mile beyond 55 miles roundtrip. This fee also applies to engagement sessions scheduled outside the same radius. Additionally, if the event is beyond a 2-hour drive (based on Apple Maps), hotel accommodations will be required for the night of the event and the client's responsibility to book.
